Network Administrator

Job Description

• Responsible for identifying network requirements, monitoring network performance, diagnosing and correcting network system issues
• Assist in establishing network system by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency, planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; (L2/L3)
• Participate in network upgrades
• Assist in developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements
• Secure network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation, maintaining documentation
• Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems
• Involve in router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols
• Ultimately, be responsible for providing support to clients as appropriate
• Ensure no disruption of service and adherence to high standards of service delivery
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
